Manaslu Circuit Tsum Valley Trek

The Tsum Valley and Manaslu circuit trek is an exhilarating journey that takes you through a variety of landscapes, ranging from semi-tropical to pure alpine regions. Throughout the trek, you'll encounter numerous waterfalls, dense forests of Pine and Rhododendron, towering mountains and peaks, and thread-like suspension bridges that hang perilously over roaring rivers. The trek will also take you through high passes, monasteries, and prayer-flag-adorned settlements, where you'll be warmly welcomed by the locals and their mules and yaks, which transport essential goods to remote areas. The region is abundant with wildlife, and you may get lucky enough to spot some during the trek.

What's unique about this trail is that it is located near the Tibetan border and is influenced by the Tibetan Buddhist culture, which you'll experience firsthand by staying in local homestays and lodges and trying out traditional food such as Dal Bhat, Chapatis, and noodle soup. Although this route was only opened in 2008, it is quickly gaining popularity among trekkers and can be reached after just a 7-hour drive from Kathmandu.
