Dhampus village trek

The trek begins in Phedi and spans two days, making it a relatively easy hike. The trail takes you through enchanting Rhododendron forests, home to a variety of wildlife and birds. Along the way, you'll be treated to panoramic views of majestic peaks such as Annapurna I (8,091m), Fishtail (6,993m), Gangapurna (7,455m), and Lamjung Himal (6,983m). The return journey involves a drive from Naudanda back to Pokhara.

There are several options for the Dhampus village trek:

Dhampus Trek 1: This is a day hike to Dhampus village, starting and ending at Phedi. The hike takes approximately three hours to reach Dhampus and an additional one and a half hours to return.

Alternative Dhampus Trek 2: This option involves a two-day trek. On day one, you drive from Pokhara to the trek starting point and hike to Dhampus. Enjoy the scenery, explore the village, and spend the night in a family-run hotel. On day two, witness the sunrise over the Himalayas, have a leisurely breakfast, trek to Phedi, and then drive back to Pokhara.

Alternative Dhampus Trek 3: This is a three-day trek from Dhampus to Australian Camp (2,055m). Day one involves driving to Phedi and trekking for approximately three hours, staying overnight in Dhampus. On day two, you'll be treated to panoramic Himalayan views as you hike through rhododendron and oak forests until reaching Pothana. After lunch, continue climbing the stone-tailed trail to Australian Camp, where you can enjoy activities like football, volleyball, and badminton with trekking crews or family members. On day three, after a warm breakfast, embark on a short two-hour trek to Kande, from where a private car will pick you up and transfer you back to your hotel in Lakeside, Pokhara. Dhampus Trek 1

Day hike in Dhampus  (1,682m)

This trek allows hiking to Dhampus as a day hike. The hike starts and ends at the same point at Phedi Village. Climb up for 3 hours to reach Dhampus and come back for one and a half hours.

Alternative Dhampus Trek 2

Day 01: Drive Pokhara ( 1350 m ) to the trek initiate point. Trek to Dhampus for 3 hours. Rest and get pleasure from the scenery, and walk around the village. Overnight in a family-run hotel.

Day 02: Early morning watching the sunrise in the Himalayas. Take a restful breakfast, Trek to Phedi and drive back to Pokhara more or less in the middle of the day.

Alternative Dhampus Trek 3

Dhampus to Australian Camp trek (2055m) – 3 days

Day 1: We drive to Phedi to initiate your trek. Roughly a 3-hour trek. Stay overnight at Dhampus.

Day 2: We set in motion our trek with exciting panoramic views of the Himalayas. Walk gently through the rhododendron and oak forest until Pothana. Having lunch after, we chase the trail climbing the stone-tailed way until Australian Camp. There is a large green ground for camping; trekkers can entertain by playing football, Volleyball and badminton with the trekking crews or with their family members.

Day 3: After having a warm breakfast, we start our short trek to Kande. It is about a 2-hour hike. From Kande, our private car will pick you up at the Hotel -Lakeside.

USD 250 per person for 2 or more-person groups (with overnight on a standard accommodation)
